Poldark star Heida Reed has revealed that she was once told her hips were 'too big for catwalk modelling' - something that has stayed with her ever since.
The Icelandic-born star, 31, took to her Instagram page this week to share a picture as she posed in bikini bottoms and a white t-shirt, turning her back towards the camera.
Heida, who is best-known for playing Elizabeth in Poldark, along with her roles in Silent Witness and One Day, Jo, admitted that being judged on her looks from the age of 15 had left her struggling with her appearance and food.
The actress began her career as a model as a teenager in Iceland, before moving to Mumbai aged 18 for two years to work as a model, and then settling in London at 20 to attend drama school.

Revealing that American pop star Demi Lovato's recent body positive post had inspired her to share her journey, she wrote: 'When I saw Demi's post that gorgeous picture the other day I felt inspired.
'Before I was an actress I was a model. I’ve been judged on my appearance since I was 15.
